Supporting Nature, One Cream Tea at a Time – Open Gardens with Cornwall Wildlife Trust

We’re delighted to be part of something truly special this spring and summer… the Cornwall Wildlife Trust’s Open Gardens series! 🌿

From April through to September, some of Cornwall’s most beautiful and secluded private gardens are opening their gates to the public in support of local wildlife conservation. These peaceful, tucked-away green spaces. From wildflower meadows to carefully kept cottage gardens, they are a joy to explore, and every visit helps raise funds to protect the natural beauty of our county.

And what’s a garden visit without a cream tea? At each Open Garden event, visitors can enjoy a classic Cornish cream tea, and we’re proud to say that our strawberry jam will be served as part of the refreshments. Whether you dollop it on top or spread it underneath the cream (we’re trying to stay neutral on that debate!), every bite supports a brilliant cause.

We’re thrilled to contribute to these lovely days out, knowing that each pot of jam helps make a difference… not just on your scone, but for Cornwall’s hedgehogs, pollinators, and wild coastlines too. 🦔🐝🌊
