Strawberry French Toast with Brioche
This Strawberry French Toast is a simple yet indulgent breakfast or brunch recipe, perfect for slow weekends or special occasions.
Made with rich brioche, a lightly sweetened custard soak, and Boddington's Strawberry Conserve.

Ingredients
- 2 tbsp Boddington’s Strawberry Conserve
- 2 slices brioche
- 1 tsp caster sugar
- 2 eggs
- 100g custard

Method
- In a shallow bowl, beat the eggs and whisk together with the caster sugar and custard until smooth.
- Dip the brioche slices into the custard mixture, ensuring both sides are well coated.
- Heat a non-stick frying pan over medium heat and cook the brioche for 2–3 minutes per side, until golden and lightly crisp.
- Serve warm with strawberry conserve, clotted cream, and fresh fruit. Add a dusting of icing sugar or a pinch of cinnamon if desired.
